Dr. Bailey and Dr. Wahid opened the clinic up in October 2016. It was one of the first hybrid clinics in the state of Alabama. Dr. Wahid practices walk-in urgent care business for 7 days a week and Dr. Bailey is our primary physician who practices during the week including Saturdays. She accepts scheduled appointments and also walk-ins from her already established patients. Dr. Wahid did a three-year clinical fellowship in neurosurgery in New York. And in his home country of Bangladesh, he was a general surgeon, so he is very familiar with minor surgeries. He worked at PriMEd for 14 years in Montgomery before opening the clinic. Dr. Bailey worked for five years at the VA Hospital treating veterans. When she left the VA, she went to work at Tallassee Family Care as a primary physician. While at Tallassee Family Care, she was the attending physician for medical school students and residents. She stayed at Tallassee Family Care for 9 years seeing adults and children. She left there to pursue her own clinic here. Dr. Bailey also teaches resident physicians here at the clinic as well. .
